13th Annual Function of Dombivili Tamil Makkal Sangam (DTMS) was held on 18.01.2015 in Thakurli (E) at Mahila Samiti English School. Mr. Thirunavukkarasu, President of DTMS addressed the gathering and Mr. L N Hariharan, Secretary of DTMS had delivered welcome speech. Mr. Chellappa, Treasurer of DTMS read out the annual report. Poet Mr. Senthur Nagarajan sang a vazhthupa.
Mrs. Sudha Sampath and Mrs. Senbagavalli Rameshbabu both were compeering the function. The chief guest Dr. Pon Anbazhagan, I.A.S., Jt. CEO of MIDC praised DTMS for the service for promoting Tamil language in outside Tamil Nadu.
Cinema Director Mr. Susi Ganesan said in his special note that the cultural programmes were very good as like as the team behind the cultural programmes can work jointly for his movie. Special Guest Mr. P Sethuraman, President of The Fine Arts, Chembur, Mumbai, makes us proud by attending the function.
Life time achievement award had awarded to Dr. S Krishnakumar, Gynaecologis & Obstetrician for his exemplary service. Memorial award were presented to Dr. Pon Anbazhagan, I.A.S., Mr. Susi Ganesan and Mr. P Sethuraman.
DTMS awarded prizes to the toppers of 10th & 12th students. Provided note books, uniforms and school fees to economically backward class students. Awards were presented to the students for their participation in the cultural programmes and the winners of the competition held on 13.12.2014 at Birthday Function of Bharathiyar in association with Bharathi Medical & Research Foundation Mumbai.
