Invitation of 16th Annual Function

Date: 28 Jan 2018, Sunday, 5.00 p.m. onwards
Dombivli Tamil Makkal Sangam is going to celebrate its 16th annual function on the Sunday 28th January 2018. Chief Guest is Dr. N Ramaswami, I.A.S., Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Special Invitee is Mrs. N Ambika, I.P.S., Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone IV, Mumbai. All Tamilians are requested to attend the function and make it great success.
Life-time achievement award would be awarded to Mr. Kumanarajan, Editor in-chief, The Lemuriya Publications.
The function would start with “Tamil thaai vaazhthu“ of students of Tamil Learning Classes. Mr. L N Hariharan, Secretary of Dombivli Tamil Makkal Sangam would present the welcome speech. Mr. A Thirunavukkarasu, President of Dombivli Tamil Makkal Sangam and Mr. S Chellappaa, Treasurer of Dombivli Tamil Makkal Sangam would present their speech. Mr. V R Tamilnesan, Former Secretary of Jarimari Tamil Sangam, Mumbai would present vaazhthuppaa.
Awards would be given to toppers of 10 and 12 standards students. School uniforms, school fees and school note books will be given to the economically backwards students. Prizes will be given to the winners of the Barathi Function and Drawing Competitions. Also helping to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Tamil Elementary School (Mahone, Ambivli).
The entire function will be anchored by Mrs. Bhuvana Venkat, Speaker of patti mantram in TV. The feast will be followed by the cultural programmes and would be concluded after thanks giving note by Mr. Arumugam (Akash), Deputy Treasurer of Dombivli Tamil Makkal Sangam.
