16th Annual Day Functions and Cultural Programmes

Dombivli Tamil Makkal Sangam (DTMS) have organised its 16th Annual Day Functions and Cultural Programmes on 28 Jan 2018 at Mahila Samiti English School, Thakurli (E), Thane Dist.
The functions had started with Lighting the Lamp and Tamil Thai Vaazhthu sung by students of Tamil Learning Classes. Mr. L N Hariharan, Secretary of DTMS had delivered his welcome speech followed by Mr. A Thirunavukkarasu, President of DTMS and Mr. S Chellappa, Treasurer of DTMS, Mr. L Ramesh Babu, Vice President of DTMS also delivered their speeches. Mr. Tamilnesan, former secretary of Jerimeri Tamil Sangam delivered vaazhthuppaa.
The chief guest was Dr. N Ramaswami, I.A.S., Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Mrs. N Ambika, I.P.S., Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone – IV, Mumbai was special invitee also delivered their motivational speeches to the gathering. DTMS have presented the Life-time achievement award to Mr. S Kumanarajan, Editor-in-Chief, The Lemuriya Publications, Thane for his contribution to the Tamil.
Cultural programmes and drama followed then. Mr. Akash (Arun Arumugam) delivered thanks giving notes. Mrs. Bhuvana Venkat was compering the entire function. The function ended with the feast.
