14th Annual Function of Dombivili Tamil Makkal Sangam (DTMS) was held on 17.01.2016 in Thakurli (E) at Mahila Samiti English School. Mr. Thirunavukkarasu, President of DTMS addressed the gathering and Mr. L N Hariharan, Secretary of DTMS had delivered welcome speech. Mr. Nanthagopal, Treasurer of DTMS read out the annual report. Poet Vathilai Prathaban sang a vazhthupa.
The chief guest, Commissioner of Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation Mr. E Ravendiran IAS, addressed the gathering. The special guest, Mr. M Senthilnathan, Executive Directory of ECGC Ltd. shared his experience with the audience.
School uniforms, note-books have been presensented by donors to the economically backward students. Prizes awarded to the toppers of 10th and +2 students.
Also awards presented to Poet Palaiya (Tamil Sudar Viruthu) and Mr. P Selvan (Best Social Worker).
Mrs. Sudha Sampath and Mrs. Senbagavalli Rameshbabu both were compeering the function. The function had concluded with thanks giving by Mrs. Bhuwaneswari Ravishankar.
