Birthday Function of Mahakavi Bharathiyar

The birthday function of Mahakavi Bharathiyar was held on 13th December 2014 at “South Indian School”, Near Railway Station, Dombivli (W). Mr. Muthu Krishnan of South Indian School chaired the function. Mr. Hariharan, Secretary of DTMS delivered inviting note and Mr. Nanthagopal gave thanks giving note.
Afterwards competitions were held in three categories. They are songs competitions, oratory competitions and essay writing. Teacher Sudha Sampath and Teacher Savithri Sekar were judges for songs competitions. Head mistress Punitha Das and Mr. Ramanathan were judges for oratory competitions. Teacher Anuradha Balakrishnan was judge for essay writings.
The function was sponsored by Bharathi Medical & Research Foundation, Mumbai.
